The best time to visit Monteverde is during the dry season, from December to April, when the weather is perfect for exploring the cloud forests and outdoor adventures. If you don’t mind a little rain, the green season from May to November offers fewer crowds and a lush, vibrant landscape.

There are several different options as to how to get to Monteverde from the San Jose Airport. You can take the public bus, a private or shared shuttle or rent a car.
